Vitamin C - When the skin is subjected to damaging elements (such as UV rays) it generates free radicals. These then attack a variety of cell components, including membrane lipids, proteins and DNA in the nucleus of a skin’s cell in an attempt to steal their electron to stabilize themselves. This causes a cascade of damage leading to inflammation, cross linking of collagen (this reduces elasticity) and sometimes disease. Antioxidants like Vitamin-C literally inactivate free radicals, neutralizing them thereby returning them to a stable state and stopping further damage. Vitamin-C also has the ability to increase collagen production. Sunshine Serum uses a super stable form of Vitamin-C with a low molecular weight, helping it to penetrate deeply into the epidermis, delivering that vitamin goodness right where it needs to be.

CoEnzyme Q10 - CoEnzyme Q10 is natural part of our skin’s lipophilic makeup. Vitamin E - Perhaps best know as a powerful anti-oxidant it’s also a wonderful ingredient for skin softening and conditioning. Vitamin E Acetate, the type of Vitamin E present in this serum, has been shown to increase enzyme activity and moisturisation in the skin.

Sweet Orange Essential Oil - Derived from the peel of the worlds oldest and most common oranges, this gorgeous smelling essential oil has a scent that will uplift and support you. Though other citrus oils can cause photo-toxicity, rendering the skin susceptible to damage (such as sunburn or blisters) upon exposure to light, Sweet Orange essential oil has no such effect. Many of the chemical constituents making up the oil are said to be both anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory, making it the perfect addition to this super serum.
